Dr. Palmer serves as the STIPD manager and Technology Coordinator for the Montgomery Public School System, Montgomery, AL. She serves as President of the Central Regional Education In-Service Center at Alabama State University, Montgomery, Alabama. She received her Principal Internship from Success Unlimited Academy-Grades: K-12. She offers a proven track record of commended performance in the education arena, with a passion for education and unwavering commitment to optimizing student and school success.
Dr. Palmer holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Administration from Capella University, Minneapolis, MN, Master of Science Degree and a BS Degree in Education from Alabama State University, a graduate of Early Childhood at Oakwood College Pre-Service teacher Institute, Norfolk State University, VA, an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Trenholm State Community College, Montgomery, Alabama.
Dr. Palmer is the past president of Learning Forward Alabama. She is married to M.P. Palmer and they live in Montgomery, Alabama.
